why did I start calsocial?

in high school, all my social plans were organised in facebook events. it was great! every week you're looking at your weekend in one app seeing what's on, who's going and hype builds around the event.

now, plans are scattered across multiple apps and group chats. an rsvp list is decided simply by who reacts with an emoji to one message that gets lost after 3 follow up chats. details also are lost in the scroll. i don't know when we decided this was a better way to organise our social calendar but it's time to fix it.

so I built calsocial.

bringing your events out of messy chats and into a calendar. one app to see all your plans with your friends. forgot the location? no more scrolling it's in your calsocial. can't remember if you had plans this thursday? calsocial. your friends are on it, everyone is on the same page.

I want calsocial to be more than an rsvp app. I want it to be the one app where you and your friends social plans are in the same place. Not swapping between apps, a calendar to see everything going on with your mates.

that is the whole thing. get plans out of the messy chat, make plans that happen and people show up. invited? go.
